 Our Classes

Where the magic happens.

Megaformer

Our signature class. This full body workout on the Megaformer is designed to improve your strength, flexibility and endurance. With a maximum of 15 people per class, expect lots of attention. Whether beginner, intermediate or advanced, modifications make this class suitable for all levels.

40 minutes. All levels.

Mega Classic

All our classic moves, taught at the front of the Mega where the spring tension adds extra support. If you find yourself modifying exercises at the back of the machine but know you have an extra gear, this class is for you. Also a great option for new clients, pre/post natal or guests that find substance in simplicity.

40 minutes. All levels.

Mega Advanced

Longer moves, heavier spring loads and mind-altering variations geared to take it to the next level, Mega Advance is for guests who have completed 25+ classes in the last 6 months and are looking for a greater challenge. If you find yourselves ahead of the pack during transitions, always take challenge options when given and crave new variations of exercises that keep you guessing, this class is for you.

50 minutes. Prerequisite: 25+ Classes

Mega Cardio

This class will get your heart pumping, combining 24 minutes of cardiovascular work on Woodway treadmills and 24 minutes of strength training on the Megaformer. You don’t have to be a runner to take this class- you can follow the program at your own pace. Don't forget your runners!

55 minutes. All levels. Kitsilano Studio Only.

We recommend taking at least one regular Megaformer class prior to taking a Mega Cardio class.

Mega Mama

Strengthen your connection to your pelvic floor and develop deep core activation through breath. Specifically designed for those wanting to educate themselves with how to move their body safely for preconception and during prenatal and postnatal fitness. Expect lots of hands on adjustments and modifications to meet your individual and personal needs. **

45 minutes. All levels.

Arms + Abs

40 Minutes of just Arms & Core work to make you long, lean and defined - no legs required! This class is recommended for guests who've completed 10 or more Lagree classes and are looking for a more targeted challenge.

40 minutes. Prerequisite: 10+ Classes.

The Megaformer

Springs

The Megaformer uses springs for resistance. Spring tension allows a greater number of muscle fibres to be used throughout the range of motion and makes it difficult to plateau.

Carriage

Located in the middle of your Megaformer, this moving platform creates stability in your body. The numbers and lines help to ensure you are working in alignment.

Handlebars

The handle bars are located at the front and back of your machine. They increase the amount of moves you can do, ensuring that class is always interesting!

Cables

Each Megaformer has a set of black and red cables located at the back of the machine. These are used for arm and leg exercises or to provide additional support in certain exercises.

The Megaformer

Platform

Stationary platforms are used to stand, sit and kneel on. There is one at the front and back of the machine. When working at the front of the machine, yellow springs provide additional support while red springs are used for heavy exercises. At the back of the machine, yellow springs add more resistance.
